Following a tough tender process, Hallmark was awarded the contract to provide AQA staff at their Guildford offices, based at the Surrey University complex. The machines were installed with specially designed graphics that show pictures of the Nyundo tea plantation in northern Rwanda where Hallmark source their superb range of teas from. With audiences increasing at this popular theatre venue, the management decided to upgrade their coffee machine in the café and chose the Cimbali S39 model for its excellent range and quality coffee drinks. Hallmark provided the equipment and services and even painted the machine and grinders in an unusual pink, to match the ambience of the area. Theatre goers can now enjoy their favourite coffee drinks whilst relaxing in wonderful surroundings.

The Crewe Lyceum, a recent acquisition by HQ Theatres, opened its doors for the first performance since the refit on the 18th March. With business expanding, Hallmark has now moved into a new 10,000 square feet purpose built warehouse. This has enabled a much wider range of stock to be held on site, ready for immediate delivery to  customers. The new building has a bespoke refurbishment & technical service facility preparing vending machines to be fully checked out before delivery & installation. The new building allows operators to load their vehicles safely inside, saving them from the wet weather. Products ordered by 4.00pm can now be despatched for next day delivery. A new showroom will be added in the coming weeks.

Hallmark has recently installed a completely new vending service to Saica Packaging at their Thrapston manufacturing plant. The new service includes an automatic frozen food machine offering a wide range of ready to cook main meals, baguettes, panninis, breakfast rolls and even ice creams. As the plant operates 24/7, the service is available at all times, day or night. Staff are able to buy their chosen product and heat it up in specially provided microwaves. Hallmark has also provided hot drinks, snacks, cold drinks and water machines to complement the service, which has been very well received.

Charles Trace is also Chairman of the Point Foundation, a charity he co founded back in 2006 and which supports 7 orphanages and schools situated locally to where Hallmark source their tea and coffee from in Rwanda and South Africa. Hallmark are a major supporter of the Point Foundation and on the 8th July, Charles completed the Steyning to Beachy Head ride across the Southdowns Way in just over 10 hours, despite appalling weather and conditions. Following the installation of four traditional coffee machines into the Egham site last November, Hallmark have installed two table top, state of the art fresh brew tea machines to further improve drink quality and choice for the staff on site. The machines offer the highest quality Rain Forest Alliance Pfunda Estate Tea, Gold Blend Coffee and Dutch hot Chocolate. Real milk is provided in special cold flasks enabling a superb cup of tea, coffee or Milky hot chocolate. Sales have so far exceeded expectation.
